We had our first big snowfall of the year earlier this week.
The first snow of the year is always exciting. But somewhere between the first and the last, something always seems to change. Novelty becomes normal, then the normal becomes monotonous.

Following the snow, the bright sunlight!
That’s a beautiful photo, Joseph! Where is it? It has a real “Chinese” look to it.
It’s in Ma-i-san, if you hang a left just after the park entrance, the trail leads up to this temple. There’s a really nice view of the Horse Ears from there.
