I vow to brighten and follow my compassionate one mind,
my source,
limitless and endowed with everything.

제 마음을 다 바쳐서, 영원히 둥글어 끝이 없는 한마음 깊이 자부를 받들어 밝히니,

I don’t quite understand this: “to brighten and follow my compassionate one mind” I can follow it, but how can I brighten it if it is already bright? because it says “my source, limitless and endowed with everything.”, If it is the source and limitless, is it not already bright? I can brighten my present conscience, like merge it with this One Mind, can dissolve some karmas and ignorance bit by bit, but how can i brighten that which is already bright and luminous?
    Is it translated perhaps slightly off?
